Account Managers are responsible for the management of customer accounts, developing and maintaining exceptional customer relationships to ensure continued business and recognising opportunities to maximise sales of associated services. Responsibilities include managing or assisting with trials and rollouts to new sites, customers or business areas and ensuring customer requirements are understood throughout the areas of HIPPO delivering the service.
The successful candidate will have a proven background in account management and business development, with a demonstrable knowledge and experience gained from working within the waste or environmental industries. You will be a professional ambassador for the company with a passion for customer service, evidenced with high degrees of competency in relationship management, reporting and presentation.
This position is Portsmouth based, with national travel so a full driving licence is essential, and we offer a competitive benefits package.

Waste Contracts Manager

As the Waste Contracts Manager your responsibility will be to execute the Waste Buying Strategy and to contribute to the evolution of the wider business strategy. Specifically, to identify and negotiate waste disposal agreements with disposal suppliers that are in-line with business commercial objectives and market requirements. Supporting the company’s ambition to develop innovative products and services for waste logistics.
Our ideal candidate will come from the waste industry having held a similar position and managed staff, who can promote an open and transparent team culture with clear communication channels. Someone who has the commercial awareness and tenacity to be proactive and deliver results to the business.
