Marketing Executive (Creative), Portsmouth

 We are currently recruiting for a Marketing Executive who will be the internal creative marketing resource to both create on/offline marketing collateral and implement website content changes.

 Responsibilities will include;

 

  • Working from creative briefs to design, development and deliver creative collateral
  • Implementing content updates to the HIPPO website
  • Develop engaging designs for evolving needs, especially within the digital sphere
  • Web page mockups, email campaigns and social media content
  • Monitor, prepare, manage and police use of HIPPO's image across social media, web, sales and offline marketing collateral
  • Maintenance of corporate stationery and all brand assets including logos
  • Work with external agencies to ensure consistency of imagery and to fulfil image and design requirements
  • Design and run email campaigns to support marketing activity.
  • Maintain reporting on competitor analysis and market positioning.
  • Update and maintain relevant databases.

 

In addition, the role requires that an excellent service to all customers, internal and external is provided in line with company standards and Brand Guidelines. Applicants will have marketing experience ideally supported by a relevant academic qualification.

Transport Manager (North), Portsmouth

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of drivers based throughout the country and ensuring the delivery of a safe, high quality and cost effective waste collection service ensuring compliance with legislation and managing risk for the business.

Managing your team’s resources to meet SLAs and ensure high levels of service are delivered. Deputising for other members of the Transport Team and the Operations Manager as required and act as a cover driver when necessary.

Applicants will be experienced transport managers, used to managing a team and dealing with HR issues. Transport Manager CPC and HGV Class 2 licence are essential, Hiab qualified would be desirable. You must live within a 60 minutes’ drive of Portsmouth and be prepared to travel nationally. It is anticipated that you will spend approximately 2 days a week in Portsmouth with the remainder of the week travelling.

Collection Representative (HGV Driver), Norwich

You will provide an excellent customer service collection and/or delivery service to all of HIPPO’S customers and clients by creating a satisfied customer every time. In this customer-facing role, you will need to be professional and helpful, flexible hours are a must as you will be working an average 48 hour week over 5 variable days including alternate Saturdays. The position includes physical duties such as manual handling and the use of a vehicle ladder. Van Operations Supervisor, Portsmouth Head Office

Reporting to the Transport Manager, you will manage the Here to Clear Operation (HTC). A service offered by HIPPO, where one of our teams will arrive at a customers’ property, clear their rubbish and then dispose of it in a responsible, reliable and ethical way.

Responsibilities will include:

• To ensure the HTC team runs a timely and cost effective operation
• Using reports to regularly review HTC Operations ensuring they are running at peak efficiency
• Plan staffing, ensuring optimum levels of cover according to the needs of the business
• Manage HTC hours to optimise fleet utilisation and costs within the requirement of the working time directive
• Daily management and motivation of allocated staff and support where required.
• Ensure each allocated HTC Crew is visited at least once quarterly
• Verify driving licences and qualifications.
• Manage any major incident, major accident or behaviour violation.
• Assess the performance and conduct of new HTC Crew members regularly
• Ensure that attendance and payroll information s accurately recorded and communicated to HR.
• Manage and develop high standards of health and safety
• Ensure that HTC Crews have all the necessary equipment, uniform and PPE at all times.
• Periodically check tracker data for allocated HTC Crews
• Provide induction training for new HTC Crews including Agency staff
• To provide formal and on-the-job training to HTC Crews as necessary
• Any other ad-hoc duties as and when required to support the needs of the business.

Along with the above applicants will also have experience and an understand of profit and loss to be able to maximise the profitability of the HTC operation, through management of its performance and cost effectiveness. You will be required to deputise for other members of the Transport Team and the Operations Manager as required. A driving licence is essential as the role will include regular travel.

Management Accountant, Portsmouth

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will be responsible for the management and financial accounting within the Company, up to and including annual statutory accounts and the production of monthly management accounts, highlighting variances and providing commentary. The Management Accountant will possess a hands on approach, which will enhance and help improve the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the finance department.

The successful candidate will have a proven background in Management Accounts including balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, variance investigation, cost analysis and customer reporting. You will have the ability to meet deadlines and have exceptional attention to detail. Experience in Excel and Word are essential.
