1 These items incur an additional fee for disposal. At checkout, please follow instructions for these items to be collected.

2 Bagged in rubble sacks. Max weight per sack: 25kg

3 Wood created for building construction prior to 2007 may contain pollutants and needs to be proven as non-hazardous. Restricted items include:

  • Barge Boards
  • Fascias and soffits
  • External joinery
  • External doors
  • External windows
  • Roof timbers
  • Tiling cladding
  • Tiling battens
  • Timber frames
  • Timber joists

4 Wood such as that used for decking and fence posts that is weather treated is hazardous waste. The material needs to be tested by an approved laboratory to prove it is non-hazardous waste, otherwise they are treated as hazardous waste by the waste transfer stations and incur an additional surcharge.
