These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry instructions are deemed to form part of the Terms and Conditions and participants of the promotion agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.

Eligibility:

1. This promotion is open to residents of Great Britain (England, Scotland, Wales) aged 18 years and over, excluding employees of the Promoter and its affiliates or agents, the immediate families of such employees and any other person connected with this promotion.

2. No purchase is necessary. Internet access and a valid, active and public Instagram or Facebook account are required. If you do not have an account, you will need to create one in order to participate.

3. Entrants may submit entries by commenting the race round(s) they wish to attend on the promotional post. Each round commented will count as one entry. A maximum of one entry per person per round per platform is permitted. Entrants may enter for multiple rounds. Entrants may participate on both Instagram and Facebook; however, only one entry per person per round on each platform will be accepted. Participants must only enter for rounds they are available to attend. Duplicate entries for the same round may be disqualified.

4. All entries must be made by the entrant themselves. Any attempt to circumvent the spirit of the promotion, including but not limited to the creation of multiple social media accounts, automated entries, bulk entries, entries made via third parties, trade groups or syndicates, will result in disqualification.

5. Entrants must ensure their social media account is set to public and that their entry remains visible until the winner notification process has been completed.

6. The entrant must be the owner of the social media account used to enter. Proof of ownership may be required. Entries from private accounts will not be eligible due to privacy restrictions. Participants entering from a private account must amend their account settings to public in order for their entry to be accepted.

Promotional Period:

7. The promotion opens at 10:00 on 03/04/2026 and closes at 23:59 on 17/04/2026. Any entries received outside of this period will not be accepted.

How to enter:

8. To enter the prize draw, log into your Instagram or Facebook account (or create one for free). During the promotional period, visit HIPPO’s Trade Instagram account (@hippowastetrade) or HIPPO’s Trade Facebook page (HIPPOTRADE) and find the relevant giveaway post. Comment on the post with the race round(s) you would like to attend for a chance to win 2 x weekend tickets (winner and guest) to each selected British Superbikes Championship 2026 event.

9. Instagram users must like the post, follow @hippowastetrade on Instagram, and comment the race round(s) they would like to attend. Facebook users must like the post, follow the HIPPOTRADE page on Facebook, and comment the race round(s) they would like to attend.

10. The Promoter monitors responses to this promotion and if any responses or any previous posts made by an entrant are, or could be regarded, as being disrespectful towards other members of the Facebook or Instagram community or which contain anything which is likely to or could cause offence or distress will be removed from the promotion. As someone who enters the promotion, your use on Instagram and Facebook is subject to the relevant platform's Terms and Conditions.

11. Participants' entries will be deemed invalid if any post:
    • Contains defamatory, malicious, indecent, or other inappropriate content;
    • Includes the names of any individual without their express permission;
    • In the reasonable opinion of the Promoter, could cause widespread or serious offense (taking into account prevailing community views or standards);
    • Contains content deemed socially irresponsible or likely to breach the CAP Code;
    • Includes trademarks, logos, or copyrighted material not owned by the entrant or used without the right holder's prior written permission;
    • Contains any images of children.

12. Facebook posts must not tag any individual person or group. Comments and images on Facebook should not show or mention another person. All entries must conform to Instagram or Facebook guidelines and terms and conditions.

13. Entrants who make an entry on someone else's behalf will be disqualified, at the Promoter's discretion.

14. Incomplete, illegible, invalid, misdirected or late entries will not be accepted. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of delivery. The Promoter takes no responsibility for entries delayed, incomplete or lost due to technical reasons or otherwise.

Prize:

15. There are 33 prizes available in total across the season (3 prizes per race round). Each prize consists of 2 x weekend tickets for the winner (18+) and a guest to attend the selected British Superbikes Championship 2026 event. Tickets are valid only for the specific race weekend indicated in the promotional post. Each winner will receive tickets for the round(s) they entered and were drawn for.

    • Round 2: Donington Park, Derby on 15 – 17 May 2026
    • Round 3: Knockhill, Fife on 19 – 21 June 2026
    • Round 4: Snetterton, Norwich on 3 – 5 July 2026
    • Round 5: Brands Hatch, Sevenoaks on 17 – 19 July 2026
    • Round 6: Oulton Park, Tarporley on 31 July – 2 August 2026
    • Round 7: Thruxton, Andover on 14 – 16 August 2026
    • Round 8: Cadwell Park, Louth on 29 – 31 August 2026
    • Round 10: Donington Park, Derby on 2 – 4 October 2026
    • Round 11: Brands Hatch, Sevenoaks on 16 – 18 October 2026

16. The prize only includes tickets and does not include travel, accommodation, food, or any other expenses unless explicitly stated in these Terms and Conditions.

17. No cash or alternative prizes will be provided, in whole or in part. In the event of circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize, or part of a prize, with a similar prize of equal or greater value. The prizes are non-transferable.

Winner Selection and Notification:

18. All valid entries received via Instagram and Facebook will be entered into a prize draw. Winners will be selected at random through a computerised process within 3 working days of the promotion’s closing date. Winners will be contacted via direct message by the Promoter from the official HIPPO Trade Instagram account (@hippowastetrade) or HIPPO Trade Facebook account (HIPPOTRADE), depending on the platform they entered from, within 7 working days of the prize draw. Please be cautious of fraudulent accounts – only the official HIPPO Instagram and Facebook accounts will contact winners.

19. To claim their prize, winners must reply to the Promoter’s direct message with their full name, email address, and county within five calendar days of receiving the message. Failure to respond within this timeframe may result in the prize being re-awarded to a reserve winner.

20. The winners will receive their 2x weekend race tickets via email, which will be sent at least 1 day prior to the corresponding race weekend.

21. Should a winner fail to claim their prize within five calendar days of being notified, or should they be ineligible or reject the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to re-award the prize to a reserve winner selected at the same time as the original winner.

General:

22. It is the responsibility of the entrant to provide correct, up-to-date details when entering the promotion and acceptance of their prize. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for the winners failing to supply accurate information which affects prize acceptance or delivery of their prize.

23. Any tax liability arising from receipt of the prize will be the responsibility of the recipient.

24. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries including but not limited to asking for proof of home address and ID (passport, driving licence or equivalent) which the entrant must provide within two working days of request. The Promoter may refuse to award the prize, withdraw prize entitlement, and/or disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, the spirit of the promotion, or if a participant has gained unfair advantage or won using fraudulent means.

25. In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion or these Terms and Conditions, at any stage, but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these Terms and Conditions (including but not limited to global or regional health crises, weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, hurricane, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, epidemic, pandemic, famine, plague or other natural calamities and acts of God), the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation.

26. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.

27. The prize winner’s surname and county of residence can be found at https://www.hippowaste.co.uk/terms-and-conditions/ within 3 months of the closing date of the promotional period. Entrants can object to disclosure, or request that disclosure be limited in scope by contacting web.enquiries@hippowaste.co.uk. We may nevertheless disclose the information to the Advertising Standards Authority if required to do so.

28. The prize winners will be requested to participate in related publicity with no further recompense.

29. Numerous factors outside the control of the Promoter may interfere with the operation of Instagram and Facebook. The Promoter does not therefore guarantee continuous, uninterrupted or secure access to these websites.

30. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram or Facebook. By entering the promotion, all participants accept that they have no claim against Instagram or Facebook. The information you provide will only be used for fulfilment of this promotion, unless you have agreed to its use for any other purpose. By entering the promotion all participants agree to a complete liability release for Instagram or Facebook.

31. The Promoter has no control over internet or communication networks and is not liable for any problems associated with them due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. The Promoter will not be held liable to any individual for any fraud committed by any third party nor for any event beyond its control including, but not limited to, user error and any network, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind which may restrict, delay or prevent a participant’s entry to the promotion.

32. Any entrant posting or seen to be posting comments to HIPPO’s Trade social media (Instagram, Facebook etc.) pages or elsewhere during the draw that are considered bullying, spiteful or upsetting to other contestants or the Promoter, will have their comments removed and will be disqualified from the draw. The Promoter reserves the right to alert the respective social media platform to any such behaviour, and you may have your account frozen pending investigation.

33. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.

34. The Promoter’s decision is final with regard to all promotional matters and no correspondence will be entered into.

35. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the law of the relevant country for each entrant, and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the relevant country they reside in.

Your personal details will only be used for the purposes of administering this promotion and for no other purposes, unless we have your consent, and will be deleted after three months from the closing date on 17/07/2026.
