Grants Up For Grabs: Action for Sick Children

Action for Sick Children is a charity campaigning on all aspects of Children's healthcare in the UK. Founded over 50 years ago, they have decades of experience in helping children recover from illness in a family focused and comfortable manner.

Their aim today is to ensure that healthcare in the UK continues to meet the unique needs of all children and young people.

The charity's head office is based in Stockport, but the team had outgrown their old facility. No longer fit for purpose, they needed to find a new home. Suitable premises were found in Cheadle Hulme, but a great deal of work was required before the team could move in.

HIPPO were happy to donate a free HIPPOSKIP and collection to take care of the waste from the project.
